BOLIVIA PRIVATE PHOTO TOURS

Discover Bolivia: A Unique Photographic Paradise

Bolivia is an exceptional country offering unparalleled photographic landscapes that transport us to scenes found only in the Altiplano. Along our routes, you'll witness unique panoramas with towering volcanoes, salt flats, and lagoons displaying an extraordinary palette of colors, distinctly different from those of classic deserts. Additionally, you'll be able to admire the exclusive fauna of this region.

The main tourist attraction in Bolivia is the Sud Lipez region, home to the famous Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve of Andean Fauna. Here, you can explore natural wonders such as Laguna Blanca, Laguna Verde, Salvador Dalí Desert, Laguna de Chalviri (Polques Hot Springs), Siloli Desert, Sol de Mañana Geothermal Field, Laguna Colorada, and the enigmatic Árbol de Piedra.

Of course, the unparalleled Salar de Uyuni is a standout, offering photographic opportunities found nowhere else in the world. This vast salt flat has two distinctive seasons: the rainy season (from December to May) and the dry season for the rest of the year, each with unique features.

During the dry season, you can traverse the entire salt flat without difficulties, visiting islands like the famous Incahuasi Island and Isla del Pescado, where you'll find hundreds of giant cacti in these true oases. You can also visit villages such as Puerto Chuvica and Aguaquiza, with their underground "galaxy" caves, formed by ancient petrified corals.

In the rainy season, the salt flat becomes a giant mirror, creating unique landscapes with the famous mirror effect. During this season, crossing the salt flat or visiting the islands is not possible due to Bolivian government restrictions. However, the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular, with the horizon merging into a single reflection, ideal for astrophotography.

We recommend acclimatizing in San Pedro de Atacama before entering Bolivia, as the altitude in the country exceeds 3500 meters. We have two main access routes:

1. **Hito Cajón Pass**: The classic and most touristic route, visiting the landscapes of the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve of Andean Fauna. The first night is spent in Huayllajara, at 4300 meters, near Laguna Colorada, allowing for beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

2. **Ollagüe-Avaroa Border Crossing**: A direct and well-maintained route to the city of Uyuni, though it omits some Altiplano landscapes.

We recommend a minimum of 4 nights in Bolivia to fully enjoy its attractions, considering travel times. We can also extend the trip to places like Tupiza, Potosí, Oruro, Sajama, La Paz, and any other destination in Bolivia.

We work with companies with over 20 years of experience in tourism, specializing in photographers. This ensures that you will always have the time necessary to capture the photos you've dreamed of. The vehicles are in optimal condition, ensuring comfort at all times, and we work with a maximum of 3 people per vehicle for a more personalized experience.
